North Georgia Technical College offers residential living on the Clarkesville Campus to provide an environment in which the learning experience may be enhanced and developed in accordance with traditional values and objectives of the college. It allows students to become independent while maintaining community responsibility and self-identity. It is one of the most rewarding and important facets of the postsecondary educational experience.
Students get the total college experience by living in our co-ed dorm on the Clarkesville Campus. Room and board includes meals at the campus dining hall, cable service, and access to the dorm’s laundry facility, Wi-Fi access, and television rooms.
Resident students will be charged $1,950 per term, for room and board for a double occupancy room. Private rooms, if available, are assigned based on availability and seniority; and students will be charged $2,400 per term for private room and board. (Summer term and Minimester term rates vary.)
Residence hall meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Monday through Thursday during the semester (excluding holidays).
A $150 deposit is due when the residence hall application and contract are returned to the Office of Student Affairs. This deposit is only refundable if the student follows official check-out procedures, leaves campus housing with no balance due on his/her account, leaves his/her room in good condition and free of any personal belongings, trash or damage to school property, and returns the key(s) and the student ID.

Ja’Quon “Ray” Chamblee
Hometown: Conyers, Georgia
Major: Criminal Justice
Ja’Quon is a 2008 graduate from Heritage High School where he played football his entire high school career. Ja’Quon received his nickname “Ray” from football. Ja’Quon has received two degrees and currently is working on his Criminal Justice degree. Ja’Quon Chamblee is the Dorm Manger of the Bryant Hall and is an assistant to Director Sherry Seal for Campus Life. He plans to continue his college career at a bible college or seminary school for theology. His hobbies are speaking the Word, singing, dancing, and working out, playing football, playing almost any kind of games, and loves sharing and receiving wisdom. He is a strong motivator and is willing to help people go beyond their limit at NGTC.

Josh Bowling
Hometown: Cobb County, Georgia
Major: Horticulture
Josh is a graduate from Lithia Springs High School from Lithia Springs, GA. Where he was involved in cross country running throughout his high school career. Josh is a current student here at North Georgia and has chosen to pursue a degree in Horticulture. He is very active on campus, where he serves as the active president for the Student Leadership Council, assistant to Director Sherry Seal Campus Life/Athletic director, along with the position of an RA. Josh enjoys music, sports, outdoors, and hanging out with friends. Josh will be more than happy to help you be successful at NGTC.

Tony Gonzales
Hometown: Hinesville, Georgia
Major: Welding & Joining Technology
Tony is a sophomore at NGTC working towards a degree in Welding Technology. Tony graduated in 2011 from Bardwell Institute in Hinesville, Georgia. He enjoys music, sports, and hanging out with friends. He will be more than happy to help make your time as enjoyable as possible at NGTC.

Wade Danley
Hometown: Ellijay, Georgia
Major: Environmental Technology
Wade is a sophomore at NGTC majoring in Environmental Technology. After completing his degree, Wade plans on taking a career as a Forestry Consultant. He enjoys music, sports, video games, and church activities.
Charlese Massey
Hometown: Savannah, Georgia
Major: Criminal Justice
Charlese is a 2011 graduate from Eagle River High School in Eagle River, Alaska. She has several interest, cheerleading, volleyball, soccer, and tennis. She loves to dance and have a great time with family and friends. Her favorite hobby is laughing (LOL) :-). Ms. Massey was born and raised in Georgia. Charlese has been all over the US since she if from a military background family. She plans to graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice from NGTC and either work for a special victims unit or become a military soldier. She has lived in Alaska for four years and loved the area and plans to be able to return back to the area soon.
Robert Harris
Hometown: Mobile, Alabama
Major: Criminal Justice
Robert is 19 years old from Mobile, Alabama. He attended Lumpkin County High School. Throughout his high school career he was involved in JROTC and severed as a commander for his senior class. He was also involved in wrestling and martial arts for 7 years. During his free time, he enjoys getting to meet new people and serve his community.
Residence Hall Operations
North Georgia Technical College maintains campus housing for men and women on the Clarkesville Campus. The residence hall, Bryant Hall, is a co-ed facility.
Selected students serve as Resident Assistants (RA’s) to assist students. The primary responsibilities of the Resident Assistants are to assist residents and act as liaison to the residents and the Campus Life Director. Resident Assistants also ensure that the rules and regulations of NGTC are followed by the residents and report any violations to the Dean of Student Affairs. They check residents in and out of the residence hall and report any residence hall maintenance needs to the Office of Student Affairs.
